Muir Engineering Ltd. was founded in 2007 by Brian Muir, P.Eng., in the heart of the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. What began as a solo practice has grown into a full-service electrical engineering consultancy serving commercial, institutional, educational, and industrial clients across British Columbia.

With nearly 20 years of experience, our team brings deep expertise across a wide range of electrical engineering services and disciplines. Our work spans from high-voltage and medium-voltage systems to EV-ready infrastructure, fire alarms, lighting design, SCADA and industrial controls, and integrated systems testing.

We are rooted in our community and proud to be part of the projects that shape the Comox Valley, as well as other communities across Vancouver Island. From Schools, healthcare facilities, civic buildings, industrial operations, and residential developments, every project we take on reflects our commitment to quality, code compliance, and long-term client relationships.
