Sproat Lake Landing is a lakefront resort and hotel located on Lakeshore Road near Port Alberni, offering hotel accommodations, a restaurant, and recreational amenities in a scenic Vancouver Island setting. The development involved the construction of two new buildings: a 2,100 sq. ft. two-storey retail building housing a general store, liquor store with walk-in cooler, and upper-floor offices; and a 5,500 sq. ft. two-storey wood-frame building containing a pub, restaurant, and hotel. New parking lots, landscaping, and site servicing were also part of the project.

Muir Engineering provided full electrical consulting services for both buildings and the surrounding site, including BC Hydro service coordination, power distribution design, interior lighting to IES standards, and telephone, television, and data networks. The scope also included a fire alarm system for the hotel building, parking lot lighting supported by photometric modelling, emergency lighting and exit signage, and power coordination for the site's water filtration and purification systems, reflecting the project's remote lakeside context.
